Bio: WereGarurumon is the Digimon werewolf from the anime: Digimon: Digital Monsters (Known as Digimon Adventure in Japan). He is the ultimate evolution of the Garurumon species. Probably one of the neatest Digimon designs, he got very little airtime in the anime (about five episodes.) before Gabumon learned to "warp Digivolve." He did, however, appear in one or two episodes of season 2, and his virus form (Shadow/BlackWereGarurumon) appeared in 2 episodes of the fourth season ( Digimon Frontier) albiet with a different voice-over artist than the original in both the English and Japanese versions. A new season of Digimon has started in Japan, and he has yet to appear. He remains a popular character among fans, though, and has also inspired countless toys and merchandise (although more so in Japan than anywhere else).
English voice: Kirk Thornton.
Japanese voice: Mayumi Yamaguchi (So far, not represented in this character. Also, is female.)

Why did I make this character?: This has always been one of my favorite characters/designs since I was first exposed to the character all the way back in 1998. I've always wanted to see this character in a 2-d fighting game, so when I got the chance to make this character for Mugen, I decided to take it.

What's in:
-All requried animations
-2 specials: Wolf Claw and Garuru Kick
-1 super: Mega Wolf Claw
-2 Intros: Thumb down and Digivolving from Garurumon
-1 Win Pose: Howl
-1 Taunt: Thumb down (same as Intro currently)
-One throw
-WereGarurumon's english voice!
-Ten palettes
-Melty Blood lifebar compatibilty (Portrait sprite currently converted/based off of fan artwork by artist named "Karabiner".)

What may be added in a future release:
-Additional specials and supers (May eventually work in WereGarurumon X attacks for this.)
-Additional voice clips (particurally for Garuru Kick.)
-Aditional sprites and animations, just to replace some of the temporary fillers (he takes me a long time to sprite...he has so many little details...)
-Double-Siding (Although I doubt I'll ever get to it, since it will be a lot of work. Not to mention, countless characters in 2-D games "flip" incorrectly when fighting them--B. Jenet, Sagat and Johann immedatley come to mind...)

Specials:
Wolf Claw
--D, DF, F, and any punch button (x, y or z)

Garuru Kick
--D, DB, B, and any kick button (a, b or c)

Supers:
Mega Wolf Claw:
--D, DF, F, and x (when power bar is at least 1).

Known Bugs:
-WereGarurumon's mouth movement in Digivolving intro is slightly off in DOS, but plays perfectly in Winmugen.
-Also concerning the Digivolving Intro-- the voice will keep going even if you speed past it by pressing x.

Tips for playing as WereGarurumon:
-WereGarurumon is probably best utalized as a close-in fighter. His Wolf Claw is very strong, but doesn't have a lot of range. Likewise, his uppercut, weak jump kick, weak and medium kicks also require him to be fairly close to his opponents.
-WereGarurumon is at a serious disadvantage against CPU players that rely heavilly on projectiles (like White Queen). Make sure to crowd characters like this (In White Queen's case, WereGaruru is actually able to duck under her standing projectiles...).
-When playing simul mode, choose a partner that's either quick or has a lot of long range attacks. WereGarurumon works best with this type of character.
